Relaxation and Rebalancing

in fact anything that brings us to a state of being present in the moment – Here Now – like spending time in nature, with animals, with people who are relaxed, balanced and Present, listening to soothing music or making music, creative pursuits.

 

Why is Relaxation so important?

In a relaxed state we experience a calmer, more confident and content state of being.

In this state of grounded grace we feel more expanded, lighter, and more radiant – because we are. During relaxation the hormone oxytocin is released and we experience an increased state of wellbeing that can transform into peak states of Unconditional Love. In this state we are less affected by situations. All our organs and systems are able to function more efficiently and our innate healing powers are better able to bring back to balance what has been challenged – and this can have surprizing results!

 

The benefits of Relaxation are too numerous to list

but in a nutshell includes:

  • Improved quality of sleep and sense of wellbeing
  • Improved energy levels and a greater sense of balance
  • Improved breathing and therefore an increased oxygen supply
  • Increased healing after illness or injury

  • A calmer, quieter, mind and greater mental clarity
  • A more balanced emotional state
  • More ease in relationships and a sense of greater connection
  • A sense of greater connection with our spiritual aspect
  • Feeling more in tune with our inner guidance.

Contraction creates or increases physical, mental and emotional pain and stagnation and we experience as sense of discontent, di-ease and disconnection from self, from others and from Source – existential pain.

Happy hormones keep us healthy it has been said. For in a relaxed state, where Love flows, as old, expired, unhealthy cells of lower vibration die, they are replaced by healthier cells vibrating at a higher frequency – and we experience ourselves as more vibrantly alive. We feel transformed – because we are!

 

 On the Energetic Level

as we relax and release old holding patterns of contraction

our energy flow is re-established, our system rebalances and the frequency of our vibration increases.
